The ninjas have been busy this week adding a ton of patches and tweaks to the game, including improvements to Warbands and the Crystal shapeshifters!
Warbands

Chat options on Quercus now allow players to toggle whether they receive coins or supplies when killing a victim holding Warband supplies.
Players can now be attacked while looting a Warbands tent.

Sailing has come up in discussions of new expansions to RuneScape since way back in 2008. Because of this, the idea of sailing is one that resonates with a huge number of RuneScape players. The core of what we would like sailing to be fits in perfectly with what makes so many players love RuneScape: Exploration and adventure.
Sailing is the perfect vessel to build the sense of adventure that all RuneScape players love. You will be able to take your ship out to sea and roam the unexplored waters of Gielinor, removing the mystery and taking on the unknown.
We would like to offer sailing as an update to come early next year and will be polling it this Thursday. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the skill by reading this blog so you know exactly what you are voting for.
Training Sailing
You should expect to spend a majority of your time out at sea exploring in order to level up. There will be other methods available, such as ship building and navigation, but the focus of sailing will be exploring the seas of Gielinor.
Exploration
Each time you board your ship and head out to sea it will be a new experience and exploring what the seas have to offer will be an excellent way to train sailing. Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
When out at sea you will move your ship in the same way that you usually walk with your character. This will offer you a lot of freedom in the water and will make the experience feel smooth and familiar.
The content you run into each time you take your ship out to see will be different as you face randomly generated seas that will throw a variety of challenges your way. Taking on anything that comes your way and completing these challenges will provide you with sailing experience.
The different content you find coming your way when at sea will offer you opportunities to gather new resources that will be used both within sailing and throughout the wider game.
Underwater caverns Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Large, underwater caverns will be one of the big attractions of sailing. Should you make your way to an underwater entrance, you will be able to jump off your ship toexplore the randomly generated cavern containing brand new enemies and, of course, lots of potential loot.
Your sailing level will determine how much you can explore so being a master sailor will allow you to head to the furthest depths of these unexplored caverns. Of course, taking on a cavern will reward you with sailing experience.
Random encounters
There will be a huge number of potential challenges and encounters that you will find in the seas of Gielinor. These events will span from quick, action-packed 2 minute adventures to lasting as long as you can manage to stay afloat. All of these events will provide you with sailing experience.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Let's run over just a few of the ideas that we plan to include.
Please note: the challenges listed below are examples. We will be looking to the community to help us create a massive, varied list of events to occur when out at sea and will be able to go into more depth on these events in the near future.
Defend the settlement- A small island is under siege and needs your help to defend against the attack.
Kraken encounters- You've seen what the Kraken can do in a dank cave, now it is time to try your luck out at sea.
X marks the spot- You've discovered a small island. Perhaps there is a little more to it than it seems.
Cyclone crisis- You have ended up in the midst of a cyclone. Save yourself and your ship by escaping.
We will be dramatically increasing the size of this list before the release of sailing. In the process we will be running a player design competition as we know the community have many, many ideas that will help sailing be all it can be.
Navigation
You will gain experience every time you navigate a set, point-to-point route. Along the way you will have the option to take part in events and challenges that will appear on your path and doing so will provide you with more experience for the trip. Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
You will be able to pick from your existing ships and set it up to best suit the journey you are heading out on before setting sail.
Ship building
For those of you that like to be able to grind away at a skill, ship building is for you. Building ships is a simple, repeatable process that will earn you sailing experience at a constant rate. Ship building will not provide experience rates comparable to exploration but will allow for a more relaxed style of gameplay for those who prefer it.
The basic process of ship building is as follows:
Step 1. Initiate the build.
Step 2. Check the status of your ship to see if it is complete.
Step 3. Modify your ship with upgrades.
Step 4. Sell your ship or sail.
The higher your sailing level, the more options you will have when it comes to the quality of your ship and what upgrades you would like to add.
Ship building details
Below is a run-through of the ship building process with some additional information.
Step 1. Initiate the build
Head to a shipyard and initiate a build. To do this you will need to provide workers with the necessary resources and tell them what to build. The required resources will vary depending on the type of ship you are building but will generally include various types of planks, bars, nails and cloth.
Depending on the type of ship you are building you may also receive small amounts of construction, crafting or smithing experience.
Step 2. Check the status of your ship
After some time passes you can return to check the status of your ship. In a similar way to checking the health of trees in Farming, this will earn you experience.
Step 3. Modify your ship
Choose if you would like to add upgrades to your ship.
Step 4. Sail or sell
Choose whether you would like to sell the ship off to an NPC for a low price or commission it for use out at sea. Selling the ship off will allow you to immediately start a new build whereas commissioning the ship will prevent this.
As you level up your sailing you will gain the ability to build at more and more shipyards that offer faster build times. You will be able to build at different shipyards simultaneously.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Having a higher sailing level will, of course, help you build bigger and better ships. As you level up you will have access to an awful lot more customisations and upgradesfor your ships.
Perhaps the most important part of your ship is the hull. As you level your sailing you will unlock the ability to build ships with stronger hulls, allowing you to take on heavier seas and lasting longer.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
A higher sailing level will also mean more upgrades. The key upgrades that will help you on your journeys are storage, cannons and hull plating. Storage offers you a place to keep items you may need or collect during your journey, cannons offer a huge amount more fire power and hull plating will improve how long you can last out at sea.
A majority of the upgrades for your ships will be created using other skills. For example, cannons would be created using smithing and figureheads will be created using crafting. These upgrades would, in most cases, be tradeable between players.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Rewards & unlocks
Sailing will offer access to a plethora of new content for you to enjoy. The content unlocked at later levels will allow those of you who become expert sailors to reap the rewards of working hard and reaching those higher levels.
In this blog we are going to talk about the Gemstone Caverns. This area will be a very rewarding area and will only be accessible with a sailing level of 55 (or someone with 55+ sailing level to take you to Atlandys where the entrance to the Gemstone Caverns is found).
Please note: All proposed best-in-slot items and content that would increase the top experience rates available will be polled separately from sailing.
The Gemstone Caverns
The Gemstone Caverns can be found deep beneath Atlandys. The caverns hold masses of gemstone creatures to be hunted, gemstone dragons to slay and even precious implings.
With treasures including the dragon sword, dragon crossbow limbs, the dragon warhammer and Zenyte, a new top-tier gem, you will have no shortage of reasons to take on the caverns.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Gemstone dragons
Gemstone dragons are a fierce new set of dragons ranging in difficulty from sapphire to ruby. Taking on these beasts will offer you a very slim chance of receiving dragon sword, dragon warhammer or dragon crossbow limbs drops. You will also have a chance of receiving a Zenyte shard, used to create a Zenyte gem.
Gemstone creatures
Jade, Opal, Topaz, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby & Diamond creatures are scattered throughout the caverns. These creatures are no easy catch but an experienced enough hunter should have no trouble getting their hands on them.
Catching these monsters will require between 32 and 95 Hunter, depending on the type that you are attempting to catch.
Precious Implings
These incredibly rare implings can be caught with 93+ Hunter. Looting them will give you a very slim chance of receiving a Zenyte shard.
Zenyte
Zenyte is an incredible powerful new gem created by infusing a Zenyte shard with a cut onyx. Zenyte requires 89 Crafting to be cut and can create a number of powerful pieces of jewellery:
Ring of Death
89 Crafting required to craft
Best-in-slot defensive bonuses
When below 10% hitpoints, this ring will fully heal you. After 10 uses it will revert to a Zenyte shard and need another cut onyx.. Doesn't work in PvP.
Ranger necklace (name TBD)
92 Crafting required to craft
Best-in-slot offensive ranged bonuses
Passive heal effect when fighting NPCs.
Magic bracelet (name TBD)
95 Crafting required to craft
Best-in-slot offensive magic bonuses
Passive heal effect when fighting NPCs.
Melee amulet (name TBD)
98 Crafting required to craft
Best-in-slot offensive melee bonuses
Passive heal effect when fighting NPCs.
There is an awful lot more to be unlocked through sailing. To list a few more of the ideas that we will be expanding on in future developer blogs:
Discover Fossil Island.
Vast dungeons packed with various beasts, both familiar and new.
New locations for training existing skills.
Brand new resources.
Augury & Rigour.
Discover the lost island of Atlandys.
Encounter new races.
Meet the mermaids of Charlotaniya.
... Lots, lots more. We will want your ideas to help make sailing all it can be!
FAQ
Spoiler
General:
Why a new skill?
We believe that, as long as the skill being introduced is one that the community are behind, the addition of a new skill can breathe new life into the game for thousands of people while still preserving the Old School experience that brought them to the game to begin with.
Will sailing be free-to-play?
Sailing will be available in F2P. There will be content that is members only but it will be possible for F2P players to train the skill and access a portion of the content it brings.
Will sailing be more like a minigame than a skill?
Not at all. Minigames are very self-contained and, outside of rewards, have no impact on the wider game. Sailing will be seamlessly integrated into the Old School world and will be a true part of the game. As you level up sailing you will unlock the ability to do more and more with the skill. This will be applicable all over Old School.
Will sailing tie into other skills?
Yes. Sailing will be a part of the game and, similar to many other skills, there will be direct connections between sailing and other skills. A couple of examples of this are how the ranged skill will be required to use some of the higher tier cannons and the woodcutting skill will be required to obtain the logs used to make higher tier ships. Sailing will not be a stand-alone part of the game.
Will I need to be in a group to get the best experience rates?
No. The top experience rates will be achievable in solo gameplay.
Will there be any player design contests for sailing?
Yes. We plan to have the community submit a lot of ideas to help make sailing all it can be. Keep an eye out for those in the near future.
Are there going to be any player-vs-player aspects to sailing?
Not initially. We had planned to include PvP in the initial launch of sailing but we felt that getting the fundamentals of the skill as perfect as we could before introducing PvP would be a better way of going about it.
How will I control my ships when at sea?
When out at sea you will move your ship in the same way that you usually walk with your character. This will offer you a lot of freedom in the water and will make the experience feel smooth and familiar.
Training
Is the focus of the skill going to be building ships? Will it be the best experience?
No. You will earn more experience by taking to the sea and exploring. Ship building will be a key part of the skill but it will not be the primary way to train.
Ship building will act as a slower, more grindable part of sailing.
Will I be able to enjoy sailing as a pure?
Yes! Pures will be able to train sailing without fear of unexpected experience gain.
Will I be able to enjoy sailing as a skiller?
As with pures, there will not be any risk of unexpected experience gain when playing as a level 3 skiller. With this said, some content may not be fully accessible.
Rewards
Will anything overpowered be introduced with sailing?
The community will have control over which rewards end up in game as we will be polling any rewards that will raise the current top experience rates as well as any new best-in-slot equipment. If the community does not approve of the rewards they will not pass the poll and they will not end up in game.
Will I need to have a high sailing level to visit areas unlocked by sailing?
Some areas that are locked behind a sailing requirement will be accessible by players that do not have the necessary sailing level if someone that does have the sailing requirement chooses to take them there. There will, however, be some content that requires a certain sailing level to access.
If you have any further questions that were not answered by this developer blog, please check out the recent sailing AMA that Mod John C hosted on reddit as well as the live sailing Q&A that took place last Sunday.
This week in Old School we have, as always, got a number of quality of life changes as well as a rework of the way slayer tasks are assigned. Let's get into the details.
Slayer Assignment Rework
We have reworked the slayer assignment tables to remove bad tasks, unnecessary requirements and have altered the weighting of certain assignments.
The rewrite of the assignment system allows us to add tasks in a way that doesn't have a large impact on the rate at which all other assignments are given. With the previous system, some tasks ended up being so rare that you would almost never see them.
We have also removed the combat level checks on all tasks, although the combat level requirements on slayer masters remain. For example, players under 110 combat would previously not have been able to receive a dark beasts task despite being capable of killing dark beasts and meeting all other requirements. We have now removed all combat level limitations for assignments.
We have also made some direct changes to assignment tables based on feedback from the community:
Gargoyles, nechryaels, abyssal demons, spiritual mages, spiritual rangers and spiritual warriors can now be assigned by Vannaka.
Chaeldar will now assign between 110 and 170 spirit creatures and aviansies.
Removed a number of terrible assignments from Duradel.
Duradel will now assign between 130 and 200 nechryaels, spiritual mages and spiritual rangers.
Nieve can now assign between 10 and 20 black dragons.
Nieve can now assign dark beasts.
If you have any feedback following these changes to the slayer assignment system please let us know. We will continue to tweak the slayer assignment system to be appropriately balanced for Old School and to the liking of the community. Your feedback is key in making this happen.

The red dragons and baby red dragons found in the Brimhaven dungeon have also had their area expanded and a few new spawns added.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
In addition to adding new spawns for existing monsters, we have added a new type of monster in Brimhaven dungeon: baby green dragons. They can be found east of the fire giants. It is possible to quickly access the baby green dragons by climbing up a vine found to the north of the cave, right by the entrance. This vine requires 87 Agility to climb.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
These baby dragons will allow slayers that receive a green dragon task to trade a bit of experience and profit for extra safety.
Sell 50 to shops
When selling items to a shop you now have the option to sell 50 at a time. This should help make the process of selling items to stores a whole lot smoother if you are trying to sell large quantities.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
It should be noted that a "Buy 50" option has not been added alongside this.
Kharazi Jungle Shortcut
A shortcut into the Kharazi jungle which requires 79 Agility and access to the Legends' Guild to use has been added just east of the entrance to Shilo Village.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Teleport outside of your player owned house
It is now possible to toggle whether teleporting to your house will place you inside your house or by the house portal. This option can be found in your house options in the settings tab.

The flow of using a legendary pet's beast of burden ability to make it less of a chore.
Legendary pets using the beast of burden ability now have a static life point pool of 10,600. As such, they can be killed in PvM situations such as Araxxor and Araxxi. They will also abide by the following rules:
Can be healed by extending the time of your pet, using the appropriate BoB pouch (if you are not at the 2 hour cap).
Can be healed using the Tribute stone, Throne of Fame and player-owned House obelisk.
At 0 life points, your pet will drop all of its carried items but stay active.
Ninja Fixes:
Players can now store up to 30 music tracks in a playlist.
Selecting 'Auto-cast' spell in combat will now automatically select the spell for both main-hand and off-hand without a confirmation window.

Fareed now has a max hit of 864 (up from 360).
Nomad:
Soul Bolt now has a max hit of 1036 (up from 450).
Disintegrate now stuns the player correctly, clearing all defensive abilities.
Disintegrate once again deals max life points minus 1 instead of 50% of max life points.
Mirror images now have the same current life points as Nomad, to make discovering the real Nomad more tricky.
Soul Blast now deals 7,500 damage (up from 3,000).
Land mines now deal 4,000 damage (up from 1,000).
Nomad (Dominion Tower):
The same changes as the quest variant.

Try DarkScape now by logging on with your existing RuneScape account!
DarkScape is now live and playable for free! This experimental new game takes RuneScape and throws it into chaos, giving you free reign for intense combat and ruthless trade wars.
Wilderness rules everywhere means heart-pounding PvP combat.
Three separate economies and lucrative high-risk regions mean enticing prospects for enterprising merchants.
Most of RuneScape's content – completely free – and a fresh level 1 start means an adventure-filled, high-risk world for everyone.
RuneScape members get additional benefits to help with quicker progression.
Frequent updates, inspired by player activity.
Why DarkScape?
With DarkScape, we're trying something new and exciting, taking RuneScape's wealth of content and changing the fundamental rules to create a whole new experience – something not possible in RuneScape itself.
The rule changes for DarkScape – fully detailed in the FAQ – are designed to encourage emergent gameplay of the most devious kind. Ever dreamed of forming a roaming clan of bandits? Fancy yourself a ruthless runite tycoon? Just want to find your fortune in a world with danger around every corner? DarkScape's the place to do it.
Based on RuneScape though it is, DarkScape is very much its own game. We've got some awesome ideas for future DarkScape content, and Mod Pi's going to be watching - making frequent changes, directly inspired by how you play the game.
Get Involved!
We've kept DarkScape quiet so everyone can come to it completely fresh. This is a world for the taking with wit, guile and strength, and we can't wait to see what you do with it. It'll be your stories that bring it alive, and your feats that become its legends.
We've released DarkScape in a raw, formative state, so it can be driven from the earliest possible point by its community – realising its potential as an emergent, player-led game. This is your chance to be in at the start of something new – to help make a game that you want to play.
Give us your ideas and feedback on Reddit and the forums, and – most importantly – get in game and start backstabbing, brutalising and conniving.
Follow us @RSDarkScape for the latest DarkScape happenings, and Tweet#DarkScape to tell the world about your adventures.
This week in Old School we have the release of the Fishing Trawler outfit! A handy set to earn you bonus fishing experience. We've also got a few additions to Old School that will please slayers as well as the release of the infrastructure for in-game bug reports.
Slayer task extensions
It is now possible to unlock extended slayer tasks for an additional 10 assignments.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
You can now purchase extensions for the following tasks:
Bloodveld
Aberrant spectre
Aviansies
Mithril Dragons
Cave Horror
Dust Devil
Skeletal Wyvern
Gargoyle
Nechryael
Cave Kraken
Unlocking task extensions individually will cost 100 points per task. If you choose to unlock all of your remaining task extensions at once you will receive a small discount on the price.
Nieve's cave expansion
Nieve has been hard at work expanding her cave and the new area is now finished! You can head to the western end to find a number of new black demon, black dragon and blue dragon spawns!

Angler's Outfit
When playing Fishing Trawler you now have a slim chance of receiving one piece of the trawler outfit. On top of looking well and truly fisherman-like, each piece of the trawler outfit provides a small increase to fishing experience gained while it is worn.
Hat - 0.4% fishing experience bonus
Top - 0.8% fishing experience bonus
Legs - 0.6% fishing experience bonus
Boots - 0.2% fishing experience bonus
When the entire set is worn at once you will receive an additional 0.5% bonus fishing experience - totaling 2.5%!
There has never been a better time to try your hand at Fishing Trawler. What are you waiting for?!

Slayer & Combat Requirements
Before this month, Slayer Masters would always check your combat level when choosing your assignments, ensuring they didn't assign you anything "too tough". In practice, many masters had extremely conservative ideas about what was "too tough"; for example, you couldn't get a Dark Beasts task without 110 combat.
We recently removed the combat requirements from tasks, allowing players to undertake tougher tasks than before. However, this wasn't always beneficial, especially for lower-level players who now found themselves confronted with bronze dragons, etc.
In today's update, we have restored combat level checks to the tasks, but Slayer Masters now give you the option to disable these checks. Speak to your Slayer Master - either in person or via the Lunar spell - to decide whether or not they should check your combat level when choosing tasks for you.
In-game bug reports
We have now launched the infrastructure for in-game bug reports. You're now able to send reports of bugs without ever having to leave Old School.
The in-game report form will be found by right-clicking the report button found at the bottom of your chat box.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
If you ever encounter a bug in-game you will be able to use this form to notify the team and provide information that will help us get it fixed.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
This form is, without a doubt, the best way to get bugs addressed. If you find a bug, please let us know using this report form.
A very popular idea over the past year and more has been to add little improvements to each of the skillcapes - to give them more of a reason to be worn when training the related skill!
Well we agree and have been working on collecting ideas for the skillcapes but we feel some of these ideas could be improved and want your help! Either post your ideas and feedback here or tweet me or Mod John C.
The feature we add to each cape should fit certain criteria:
Should only a small perk.
Should not have anything more than a tiny impact on the XP rate for that skill.
Should be a circumstance where the perk would actually be useful.
There should only be 1 perk for each. Your suggestion would replace the idea we have.
The stats of the capes should not be changed.
Current Perks
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Attack
Unlimited teleports to the Warrior's Guild.
It is hard to come up with ideas for the melee combat skills, but this does seem appropriate. We thought about having it perm boost to 100, but it wouldn't really be useful at all versus any cape with an offensive bonus.

Strength
Unlimited teleports to the Warrior's Guild.
It is hard to come up with ideas for the melee combat skills, but this does seem appropriate. We thought about having it perm boost to 100, but it wouldn't really be useful at all versus any cape with an offensive bonus.

Defence
Act as a Ring of Life.
Would act as a permanent Ring of Life! It would not degrade upon using like the ring does. Thanks for submitting this suggestion! We like it Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view..
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Ranged
Act as an accumulator.
This seems logical - while not having the stats of the Ava device, it does give you an alternative, something you can use to show off with but still have your ammo picked up.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Prayer
Will provide the effects of the Holy Wrench.
This will not stack with the Holy wrench but will allow you to save that inventory space rather than having to bring one with you. Seems appropriate for obvious reasons. We thought about making it count as a Saradomin item in GWD but this feels better.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Magic
Cast Spellbook swap once a day on the cape.
This would allow you to use spellbook swap regardless of which spellbook you are using once a day. It would also not require access to the lunar spells.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Hitpoints
Acts as if you have rapid heal prayer activated, i.e. 2x HP restore rate.
This will not stack with the prayer. (It could do though, get your feedback in). Would provide a nice effect, the prayer after all is low level and doesn't use many prayer points to use.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Runecrafting
Acts as all tiaras or decreased chance of degrading pouches
This would allow access to any and all Runecrafting altars including any future altars if we choose to add them. Most RCers would use abyss, acting as all tiaras could be not too useful, decreasing the chance of the pouches degrading when being filled might be better.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Construction
5 daily teleports to the portal room of your PoH.
Similar to the Magic cape idea, allows you to have quick access to teleport portals, and hence should have a limit. This would also mix it up a little from the standard PoH teleport to your portal.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Agility
Acts as Graceful cape including the weight reduction.
Allows you to show off your Agility cape rather than having to wear Graceful. Seems fitting that when you want to conserve run energy around Gielinor that you wear your Agility cape!
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Herblore
Can search the cape and find a Pestle and Mortar.
You would not be able to do this while you already have one in your inventory. Another one that we would definitely appreciate suggestions on. Feels a bit weak as a perk but could provide help in a few situations.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Thieving
Provides Ardougne cape thieving benefits; that is a 10% better chance of pickpocketing anywhere in Runescape.
This is unlocked via the hard Ardougne achievement diary. We believe this isn't devaluing the diary reward, a 99 in one stat just for one of the benefits of that diary is fair.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Crafting
Unlimited teleports to the Crafting guild.
Certainly seems appropriate, would be a nice little perk for anyone who is wanting to use any of the content there (guilds themselves could be more useful too though).
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Fletching
Can search the cape and find a knife.
You would not be able to do this while you already have one in your inventory. Another one that we would definitely appreciate suggestions on. Feels a bit weak as a perk but could provide help in a few situations.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Slayer
Can persuade your slayer master to reassign you the same task you just had once a day.
Duradel et al. would recognize you are a very experienced slayer yourself and would be happy to let you repeat your last task - This would only be doable once. Once you have used the repeat on a task, the next day you would have to get a completely new task.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Hunter
Permanent level boost to 100.
This would hence provide a small boost to your catch rate when hunting - hence this would be a very slight XP boost per hour. Feels a tad artificial so if there are any better suggestions, we'll definitely take them into account.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Mining
Has the Varrock Armour 3 effect.
The effect of the hard Varrock Armour is to have a 10% chance of receiving a double ore from the rock you mine including the xp for that extra ore all the way up to adamantite.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Smithing
Would provide the Goldsmithing gauntlets XP boost.
That XP boost increasing the XP received for smelting a Gold bar by about 2.5x. This was another skill we struggled for ideas with, feel free to suggest something else.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Fishing
Permanent level boost to 100.
This would hence provide a small boost to your catch rate when fishing - hence this would be a very slight XP boost per hour. Feels a tad artificial so if there are any better suggestions, we'll definitely take them into account.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Cooking
Would provide the Cooking gauntlets effect.
That effect being that it reduces burning. You will stop burning food at a lower level than you otherwise would. A need for all cooks!
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Firemaking
Acts as a light source.
This would be a light source that couldn't go out when failing an agility shortcut or the like. Would allow you to free up an inventory space.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Woodcutting
Permanent level boost to 100.
This would hence provide a small boost to your chance of cutting a log - hence this would be a very slight XP boost per hour. Feels a tad artificial so if there are any better suggestions, we'll definitely take them into account.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Farming
Give a 5% increased yield from herb patches.
This would stack with any other boosts you can get for increasing yield, i.e. the Magic secateurs etc. This number can also be changed with ease if anyone thinks it is too high or too low.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
Sailing (if it had passed - just left in as an easter egg Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.)
Increased chance of generating a rare event.
When sailing you have a chance of generating a rare event based on the upgrades you have added to your ship. If you wear this cape while sailing, this chance would be increased slightly - and there is plenty of reason to sail past 99!
The Max Cape
Firstly, the Max cape is currently being developed by Mod Maz and will be another few weeks away yet. It is far bigger than the other content in the QoL poll given the graphics requirements for an epic emote etc! This cape would be released before this project, and hence we must consider it.
We have two options:
Allow it to have all the perks simultaneously.
Allow it to only have one, which you must operate the cape and choose.
Given the perks are not really related to one another, we don't have a problem with it giving all the perks simultaneously - they are small and only provide a little help. Your feedback would be appreciated here.
